Microsoft Excel – Jumping to the last cell

In this tutorial we will be covering the process to jumping or going to the last populated cell, this is especially useful if you are working with a very large set of data. To do this carry out the following steps.

  1. Select any cell within your spreadsheet.
  2. The active cell will then be noted by a green border. Double click on the bottom of the green border to jump to the bottom of the spreadsheet.

This process will work for all sides of the border i.e. double clicking on the left hand side of the border will jump to the last cell furthest left and so on.
