Microsoft Excel – Highlighting row differences

In todays post we will be highlighting any row differences within our Excel spreadsheet, to do this carry out the following steps:

  1. Start by highlighting the rows where you duplicate row values may exist.
  2. Within the ‘Home‘ tab click on ‘Find & Select button, within the dropdown click ‘Go To Special…’.
  3. A pop up window will appear, tick the option named ‘Row differences‘ and then click ‘OK‘.

This will highlight and select any row differences that may exist within your data.
